PARTNERING WITH AN RTO
Partner with the RTO for the Delivery of First Aid
Partnering with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) allows individuals and organisations to deliver nationally recognised training under a formal third-party agreement.
These agreements clearly define the responsibilities of both the RTO and the partnering organisation to ensure full compliance with the RTO’s scope of registration and regulatory obligations.
All partnering agreements are registered with the National VET Regulator, ASQA, ensuring transparency and adherence to national training standards.

Benefits of a Partnering Arrangement
A partnering arrangement enables an individual or organisation to be involved in the delivery of nationally recognised training, including First Aid, while continuing to operate their own business and maintain their existing client base. This pathway allows you to deliver accredited training without the significant cost, complexity and ongoing administrative burden of becoming an RTO yourself.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for a third-party partnering arrangement, applicants must be able to provide evidence of the following:
- A qualified Trainer and Assessor holding a relevant Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), Diploma of VET (TAE) or other approved certification as outlined in the National VET Standards
(see Trainer and Assessor requirements via Department of Employment and Workplace Relations) - Current, nationally recognised First Aid certification issued by an RTO
- A valid ABN
- Current Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
